【Abstract】 Although there is no lack of new vision in Coleman’s eco-political thought, the imagination of green society inevitably falls into the illusion because his thinking path is not out of the capitalist structure. Forster’s eco-political thought, because of his deep understanding and understanding of the nature of the ecological crisis of capitalism and his clear attitude towards socialism, is more full of theoretical value and practical enlightenment.
