【Abstract】 This paper summarized the recent progress in the seismic response analysis and major earthquake design methods of the portal frame structures with tapered members at home and abroad,as well as pointed out the necessity and urgency to study the seismic response of this type of structure.In allusion to the insufficiencies of earthquake design items in some specifications for these structures in China,the paper carried out the research on seismic response of these structures under earthquake.And the future prospect of seismic analysis and design methods for these structures under earthquake is also predicted.更多还原
