通信产业商业模式的生态学研究

【摘要】 随着通信产业改革步伐的推进和3G移动通信牌照的发放,通信产业进入了新的发展竞争阶段,我国形成了移动、电信、联通三家全业务运营商“三足鼎立”的竞争格局,面对更加复杂的竞争环境,如何寻找用户的需求,如何寻找成功的商业模式成为运营商乃至通信行业亟待解决的问题。生态学的相关理论揭示了物种进化的一般规律,越来越多的被应用到社会、经济、军事等各个领域。随着生态经济学理论的逐渐成熟,对通信产业经济现象的研究越来越多的使用生态学理论和方法,但是目前大部分的研究是把运营商、设备供应商及其它相关企业放在一个静态的时点上来讨论,侧重于研究通信产业的种群生态位和竞争关系等,缺乏演进的、动态发展的视角,难以真正揭示通信产业的内在规律。而对商业模式的研究则多侧重于事后的总结性结论,没有前瞻性和可复制性,只有站在生态系统的角度,从整体的角度加以分析才能解决这个问题。本文正是在这种背景下,应用生态科学、价值链理论、协同进化等相关理论,试图以动态、演进的思想研究通信产业的商业模式问题。首先,类比生态学的研究方法,建立商业模式的分析框架,在生态环境、物种演化进程和物种与环境的关系三方面展开论述,并创造性的提出“战略商业模式”的概念,用于宏观分析产业的商业模式发展方向。接着,从技术、需求和管制政策三方面讨论了生态环境的发展趋势,系统概括了通信产业物种的演进过程,并使用系统动力学构建数学模型,研究了物种与环境的关系。最后,以I—MODE模式为例,做了实证分析,给出中国通信产业商业模式的对策和建议。通过论文的阐述,希望能找到企业在相互作用过程中保持竞争力的相对平衡以及通信产业的最优生存和发展方式,以期提出对产业发展有效的建议和对策。

【Abstract】 With the promotion of pace of the reform of the telecommunications industry and the issue of the licenses of 3G mobile communications, china’s communications industry has entered a new stage of development. The three-angle competition has formed consisting of the china mobile, china telecommunication and china Unicom. In face of the more complex competitive environment, how to find out the user’s needs and the successful business model has become an urgent issue for the providers as well as the whole industry.The related theories of the ecology, which revealed the evolutionary, have been used more and more to analyze the society, economics, military and etc. With the maturity of the ecological economics theories, the research of the phenomena of the communications industry has used the theory and method of ecology more and more. But most of the studies put the providers, suppliers and the companies on the static point to discuss, which is hard to uncover the real internal relations of the communications industry. Besides many studies of the business models focus on the conclusions of the summary, lack of the forward-looking and reproducibility. Thus only standing on the perspective of the ecosystem, from the overall perspective, we can solve the problem.The article, against this background, applies the ecological science, the value chain theory and the co-evolutionary theory to try to figure out the business model problems of the communications industry with the dynamics and evolutionary thoughts. First of all, the article analogize the methods of the ecology to establish the analysis framework of the business model and discuss it on the three aspects of ecological environment, the process of the evolution and the relationships of the environments, creatively concluding the concept of the "strategic business model" for macro-analysis of the development of the business model. Then the article talks about the development trends of the ecological environment on three aspects of technology, requirements and administrations to systematically conclude the evolution process of the communications industry, and study the relationships between the species and the environment based on the mathematical model structured by system dynamics. At last the article analyze the I-Mode as an example, tries to give the recommendations to the business model of the communications industry.Through this paper, I hope to find the relative balance in the course of the interaction between enterprises, and the best way to survive and develop for the communications industry. And I hope to give some effective suggestions for the industry developments.
