隋唐墓志盖题铭艺术研究

【摘要】 墓志是古代丧葬礼俗中重要的衬葬品,专为记叙死者姓名、籍贯、生卒年月、生平事迹等内容的丧葬器具,是当时人们生死观与丧葬文化的重要体现。隋唐时期是墓志发展的鼎盛阶段,其数量之多,铭文之长,纹饰之美,历来颇受学界瞩目,是以研究者众。但大都囿于墓志的志石文字部分。而对于组成“一合”墓志的重要部分——墓志盖,因其历史、文献等价值不高,或旋出旋弃,或无人问津,长期遭受冷落。墓志盖题铭也因此少有人关注,至今仍为学术研究领域的缺憾。本课题从提出“题铭书刻”问题入手,以“题”与“铭”的历史渊源、墓志的源流考察、墓志盖的形制与文化内涵为切入点,综合运用艺术考古学、金石学、历史学、文献学、文字学、书法学、美术学等诸多学科知识与方法,借助考古文物图像资料,并结合多次大量的实物标本考察,在全面比较分析志盖题铭图像的基础之上,首次对隋唐时期墓志盖题铭的书体类型式样、书法风格,书手、刻工、刻制工艺,地域风格、谶语现象等诸多问题进行了比较深入而系统的断代式个案研究。作者认为,墓志盖不仅有保护志文的外部功用,从形制到志盖题铭都具有一定文化涵义,体现了古代丧葬礼俗的某种特殊的神秘文化意蕴,而且通过志盖题铭既可观文字与书法之演进与流变,并以汉字的文化符号功能考察当时的习俗与观念,同时也深刻地反映了一定历史时期的社会政治、经济、文化之变迁。与传统金石学等相比,不仅在研究方法上有很大的进步,而且拓展了学术视野。因此,本课题有重要的学术价值。从某种意义上说,本文研究在一定程度上可以弥补当前墓志研究的不足,同时也填补了系统研究隋唐墓志盖题铭的空白,并希望以此课题做抛砖之引,以俟有更多的学者关注并做更深入的学术研究。

【Abstract】 Inscription, which is an important instrument in Chinese ancient funeral andsystem. The flourish step of the inscription’ s development is Sui and Tangdynasties.During this period, quantity are many, engraved inscription is long,andthe decoration isattractive. Therefore, the scholars focus on that greatly, butit is limited mostly in the part of the inscription text. With respect togravestone’ s cover, composing of the important role of "yihe " (一合) , it becomea shame that few people care about that in the academic research field so far, becauseits lower value of history and literature ,maybe (?)iscard after be discovered, maybenobody would like to close to gravestone’ s cover (墓志盖) so that it is ignoredfor a long time.This article stem from the observation of the source of the inscription, takethe followings as the incisive point ,the shape and the culture connotation ofwhich,and the history resources of "Title" (题) and "Carve" (铭). Simultaneously,the paper is based on archaeology cultural relic , specimen in kind and concreteanalysis and used the knowledge and methods from archaeology ,history, epigraphy,literature study, philology, calligraphy and art. It is the first time to have aindividual research divided into periods deeply and comprehensively, regarding thetype and pattern of calligraphy, calligrapher ,the character carver, the regionstyle. The author think that the gravestone’ s cover (墓志盖) can not only protectthe exterior function of inscription text ,which has the exact culture meaning fromthe shape to the carve, and shows that the ancient funeral custom’ s mystery culture,but also observe the customs and ideas at that time by the culture functions of thecharacter, as the development and change of the gravestone’ s words and calligraphy.At the same time , it effects the society politics ,economics and culture in therecent history term. Comparing with the traditional epigraphy, the inscription notonly has a great progress in the research method, but also enlarge the academic views.Thus, this article has an important academic views .In a way, the research ofthis text can remedy the shortage of recent gravestone’ s research ,at the sametime ,it can fill the black research about inscription of sui and tang dynastiestotally. I hope this article can give you a inspiration and I respect more scholarshave attention to this field and do more deeper academic research.
