中国现代学术性自传研究

【摘要】 学术性自传是学者对其学术心路历程的一种自我表达,广义上它应属于自传的一种。我国西汉时期就出现了以序跋为主的学术性自传雏形,发展至现代与当代,学术性自传已经成为一种独立的传记形式。学术性自传不是学术与自传的简单相加。前者是一种学术职业身份,而后者指个人生活与个性历史。这两者在“个人史”中交错延展,外人一般很难厘清二者的关系,通过学术性自传研究可以为学者个案研究、学术史研究、他传的写作提供一些可供参考的结论。这正是本文提出学术性自传概念的理论设想。提出学术性自传概念后,本人把研究对象框定在现代,为探索与论述的方便,本论文重点考察的学术性自传的传主为学术成熟期在1912-1949年的中国人文学者,无论解放后他们在国内还是在海外。传记学本身是跨文学与史学的领域,学术性自传更是跨越多个学科。随着传记观念的演进,自传已经成为一种普遍的自我书写方式,学术性自传也成为一种比较显著的社会文化现象,但研究这一现象的论文与著作很少。研究这种传记文化现象,涉及的问题很多,如传记的属性、学者的使命、知识分子的状况、叙事理论、自我意识与自我认识、中国的自传与西方自传的差异。作者在通读文献、细读文本的基础上,引入自传观念,对中国现代自传观念进行了梳理,将现代学者得学术性自传置于自传观念演进过程中进行综合考察,探讨了现代学术性自传产生的社会历史根源与心理根源,对现代学术性自传的传记要素进行了归纳与梳理,对现代学术性自传的文体特点进行分析与判断,对现代学术自传的个案进行分析。在现代学术性自传中的学术史料予以整合,发掘出现代学术发展过程中的学人心态、学术生存、学科观念轨迹,为现代学术史研究提供参考。论文包括六个部分。引论部分提出研究对象。第一章主要通过探讨中国现代自传观念的演进过程,对现代有代表性的自传观念进行纵向梳理,从而将学术性自传置于中国自传文化史进行考察。学术性自传既是自传观念演进的结果,也是自传研究的新领域。作为自传领域的一个子类,学术性自传的特点、本质、分析框架与其它自传有相同或类似之处。本章是学术性自传研究的理论基础。第二章重点分析学术性自传的传记文化要素,揭示现代学术性自传的社会文化根源以及心理根源,对现代学术性自传中的童年叙事、教育经历、师承渊源、学思历程等传记要素逐一梳理与分析,对学术性自传的文学性以及特点进行分析与归纳。第三章侧重学术性自传的个案分析,以鲁迅、胡适、顾颉刚三位学者为代表,论述学者如何在学术性自传中塑造学术性自我,学者在塑造学术性自我中政治文化因素对写作者的影响,以及学术性自传与学术活动直接相关的生活叙事。第四章重点发掘现代学术性自传中反映出的学人心态、学术现状、学术生存、学科观念的轨迹,并分析其相关要素在中国现代学术史上的作用与意义。结语部分对现代学术性自传写作的缺陷进行归纳总结。对当代学术性自传的前景进行分析与预测。

【Abstract】 That it should belong to autobiography one that academic autobiography is a scholar to whose learning intention one kind ego is expressed, broad wide upper species.
