【摘要】 本文以明代重要的佛教美术题材之一——佛传故事画为研究对象,重点考订和讨论了包括四川剑阁觉苑寺、青海乐都瞿昙寺、山西太原多福寺、山西五台山南山寺上院佑国寺和下院极乐寺中的明代佛传故事壁画,以及山西太原崇善寺明代佛传故事壁画摹本和明代版画《释氏源流》在内的七例现存的佛传故事画。本文根据这七例佛传故事画的特点及其相互间的影响,将分五章进行研究。第一章探索佛传故事画的源流。第二章分析了明代佛传故事画中内容最为丰富的作品——版画《释氏源流》,通过它的诸多特质来揭示明代佛传故事画的时代特点,并以它作为范例来探讨明代佛传故事画图像构成中的规律性因素。第三章讨论了四川觉苑寺和山西五台山南山寺上下两院共三处的佛传故事画,它们都不同程度地受到了版画《释氏源流》的影响,本文借此探讨了壁画粉本流传的状况以及寺院级别对粉本使用的影响。第四章重点讨论了崇善寺、瞿昙寺这两座高级别寺院中佛传故事画的面貌特点。此外,多福寺壁画以崇善寺壁画为粉本,在此也一并讨论。此文在分析论述时,从情节设置和图像特征两个方面入手,力图以这七处佛传故事画各自提示的不同角度来揭示明代佛传故事画的整体面貌和特点。论文最后一章把明代佛传故事画放置于明代独特的佛教信仰环境、社会环境和视觉环境下进行考察,以期揭示明代佛传故事画时代特色形成的原因,并以佛传故事画为视点讨论了佛教美术“世俗化”的问题。更多还原

【Abstract】 This dissertation focuses on the Ming Dynasty murals illustrating the life of the Buddha. Through examination of scene selections, artistic styles, as well as social and political environments, this study attempts to search for a commonality of style in the Ming Dynasty murals in the genre of the life of the Buddha. Six existing murals, one printed picture-story book, as well as the relationship between the printed illustrations and murals are examined thoroughly. The study is divided into five chapters: 1) Investigation of the history of the paintings illustrating the life of the Buddha; 2) Analysis of the picture-story book, the Origin of Buddha and Buddhism, as a study of the particular style and character in Ming Dynasty murals; 3) Research on the murals in the Jueyuan Temple (Jiange, Sichun) and the Nansan Temple (Wutaisan, Sanxi) to demonstrate the influence of the prints in the Origin of Buddha and Buddhism; 4) Examination of the murals in the Chongshan Temple (Taiyuan, Sanxi), Qutan Temple (Lidu, Qinghai), and Duofu Temple (Taiyuan, Sanxi) in order to review how these murals deviated from the formal sketches when the status of the temple changed; 5) Considerations of the religious, social and artistic influences behind the stylistic changes in the Ming Dynasty murals along with a survey of the continuous secularization of Buddhist art in Ming Dynasty.更多还原
