移动互联网路由理论与关键技术的研究

【摘要】 回顾传统电信网的发展,经历了从有线传输到无线传输,再到现在的无线/移动传输这样一个过程。不难想象,互联网也必然经历这样一个过程,即从固定/有线互联网络到无线互联网络,再到移动互联网络。由于传统互联网是以“固定、有线”为主的连通方式,在路由、组播和管理等方面缺乏对移动性的支持,也没有考虑无线环境的特点,难以满足移动互联网络的发展需求。因此,急需突破传统互联网的原始设计思想,研究新一代移动互联网的机理、理论与关键技术,包括描述移动互联网体系结构的理论与方法、移动互联网的路由理论与协议、移动互联网的组播理论与算法等。在上述研究内容中,路由是移动互联网中的核心内容,因此本论文重点研究移动互联网中的路由理论与关键技术,主要研究成果和创新点如下:①对移动互联网中所存在的路由优化问题进行了全面分析,提出了一种新的路由优化机制,讨论了该机制下各功能实体的操作、地址分配策略和快速切换算法等;②提出了一种适用于移动互联网的动态路由协议MIRP,对该路由协议框架下路由维护与更新算法、各功能实体的操作、数据结构等进行了详细的阐述,仿真表明该协议具有较好的性能并且易于实现;③对传统的移动性管理技术做了分析和总结,然后针对移动互联网的特点,提出了移动互联网的位置管理机制和切换管理机制。分析结果表明,本论文提出的移动互联网路由理论及关键技术可以有效解决移动互联网中的路由优化问题、路由发现问题及管理问题,可以为移动互联网的研究提供路由方面的基础和支持,有望对新一代信息网络特别是移动互联网络的发展与应用起到促进作用。

【Abstract】 There are, in retrospect, three phases in the development of traditional telecommunication networks. The first phase is based on wired signal transmissions. The second phase is founded on wireless communications. Nowadays, it has been turned into the third phase that includes wireless communications and mobile communications. It is reasonable that the development of Internet is as above mentioned, namely from fixed wired Internet to wireless Internet and then developed to Mobile Internet.The connection method of traditional Internet is mainly "fixed and wired", lacking of the support on mobility in aspects of route, multicast and management. And the characteristics of wireless environment were not taken into consideration. It is obvious that the traditional Internet can’t satisfy the requirements of Mobile Internet. Therefore, it is in dire need of breaking through the original design idea of traditional Internet and starting the research on the mechanism, theory and key technologies for the next generation of Mobile Internet. The research aspects include the theory and method of the Mobile Internet architecture, theory and arithmetic of routing protocol in the Mobile Internet, theory and protocol of multicast in the context of Mobile Internet, theory and technology of wireless IP Internet based on IPv6, and so on. As the routing theory is the hardcore of Mobile Internet, the emphases of this thesis are the routing theory and key technologies in Mobile Internet. There are several research points shown as follows:①A new routing optimization mechanism in the Mobile Internet is presented. The routing optimization problems in Mobile Internet are analyzed first. Then a new routing optimization mechanism is given. Finally action of every entity, address assignment policy and fast handoff algorithm are described in the framework of the new mechanism.②A new mobile routing protocol adapting to the Mobile Internet is established.. Firstly, the traditional routing protocols are analyzed and compared. Secondly, a new option in Router Advertisement is introduced, which is used to carrying routing information. And a new mobile routing protocol is proposed based on this option. Thirdly, the route maintaining and updating arithmetic, action of every entity, and Data Structures in the new routing protocol are detailedly discussed.③The management mechanism in the Mobile Internet is raised. Firstly, the traditional mobility management technologies are analyzed and summarized. Then, based on the characteristics of the Mobile Internet, the location management mechanism and handoff management scheme in the Mobile Internet is given.It is verified that the theories and key technologies presented in this thesis are able to solve the routing optimization, routing discovery and management problems in the Mobile Internet by the results of analysis and simulations. Those theories and technologies can be provided as the basis and supports for the routing research in the Mobile Internet. So it is beneficial to accelerating the development of the next generation information networks, the Mobile Internet in particular.
