开放式地图出版数据模型的研究

【摘要】 地图出版是地图学研究的一项基本内容,数据模型是信息系统的基础。本文在分析目前各类地图出版系统的基础上,指出了它们所采用的数据模型存在的局限性,提出了开放式地图出版数据模型的研究论题。开放式地图出版数据模型是开放式地图出版系统建立的基础,它需要系统完整地描述地图出版所处理的各类信息,并保证描述方式的开放性,满足地图出版信息共享的时代需求。针对开放式地图出版数据模型这一论题,本文进行了如下几方面的研究: 1.分析了地图制图与GIS学科中的OpenGIS技术和空间数据模型,印刷出版学科中的PostScript语言、PDF格式和JDF技术。在此基础上,提出了开放式地图出版数据模型的研究体系。 2.介绍了地图出版系统中涉及的各类信息,并从描述方式和逻辑关联上对这些信息进行主题划分,共分为八个主题,分别是:基本框架、坐标参考系统、地图出版符号、矢量图形、栅格图像、文本信息、色彩信息和元数据。 3.从地图出版符号信息共享的角度出发,提出了地图出版符号标准化的设想,并给出了实现标准化的具体策略。详细论述了地图出版符号描述信息的标准化和地图出版符号库访问接口的标准化问题。为了提高地图出版符号的显示效果,还论述了一种适合于地图出版符号的反走样算法。 4.区分了地图出版系统中的矢量信息和图形信息,然后分别论述了矢量信息和图形信息的描述问题。就图形信息而言,涉及基本图形和组合图形的描述;就矢量信息而言,涉及几何信息、属性信息和拓扑信息的描述,其中几何信息的描述基于空间实体,拓扑信息的描述基于拓扑规则。 5.论述了栅格图像描述的基本方法,分析了适合于地图出版系统的图像压缩方式,提出了地图出版系统中图像的分级管理策略。 6.地图出版系统中的文字信息可分为注记和注释两大类,每大类又可分为简单型和复合型两小类,本文给出了各类文字信息的存储结构。对于文字信息的出版而言,字库的选择是至关重要的,本文在系统分析字库技术的基础上,提出了字库选购的一些注意事项。 7.色彩管理是地图出版信息“所见即所得”的基础,本文分析了开放式色彩管理的基本原理,介绍了基于Profile文件的设备颜色特征的描述方法,并论述了开放式色彩管理中颜色转换的方法。在此基础上,提出了地图出版数据模型中颜色描述和管理的基本原则及方法。

【Abstract】 Map publishing is an essential aspect of cartography. Any information system is based on data model. In this dissertation, various map publishing systems are analyzed, some shortcomings of their data models are indicated. and the topic which is the open map publishing data model is advanced. The open map publishing data model is the basic element of the open map publishing system. It should satisfy several basic requirements which include the scientific and comprehensive characterization about map publishing information, openness and the share of map publishing information. The main research achieved in this dissertation is presented:1. Several major techniques and theories including OpenGIS, spatial data model, PostScript, PDF and JDF are analyzed. Then, the research architecture about open map publishing data model is ascertained.2. The involved information in the map publishing system are introduced briefly. Through analysis the information is divided into seven types, including coordinate reference information, map publishing symbol information, vector and graphics information, image information, font information, color information and metadata information.3. For the share of map publishing symbol, the author brings forward the idea about the standardization of map publishing symbol, and presents a specific method. Especially, the standardization of the structure and accessing interface of the map publishing symbol is discussed in detail. For the fine quality, an anti-aliasing algorithm suiting map publishing symbol is discussed.4. The vector information and graphics information are distinguished and characterized in this dissertation. Graphics is divided into simple graphics and combined graphics. Vector information includes geometry information, attribute information and topology information. Geometry information is characterized based on spatial entities, and topology information is characterized based on topology rules.5. The presenting method and compressing code suiting digital image in the map publishing systemare discussed. a kind of strategy managing layered image is advanced.6. The text information in map publishing system is divided into label and annotation, each of which includes simple type and complicated type. The storing structure of various text is discussed in this dissertation. Font is important for the publish of text. Some techniques about Chinese font are introduced.7. Color management is the basis of WYSIWYG. Firstly, The author introduces the theory of open color management system, including the device characterization based on Profile and the conversion among different color spaces. Then, the principle and method on color management in open map publishing system is presented.
