民族根生性视域下的日本当代建筑创作研究

【摘要】 当代日本建筑创作已经走在了世界的前列,显示出鲜明的时代特色与民族特色,随着2014年普利兹克奖获奖建筑师的揭晓,日本共有7位建筑师获得了此奖,是获奖数量仅次于美国的国家,委员会在给他们的评语中都提到了“日本的”建筑,这说明当代日本建筑中存在的“日本趣味”是被普遍认可的。但是当代日本建筑师们大多不提传统或民族,甚至有意回避,产生这一现象的原因是什么?这是值得我们思考的问题。再则,对于当代建筑的民族性问题,我们在讨论方法上存在一个误区,一直停留在当代建筑是否具有民族性以及有什么样的民族性上。但是解决这些问题的根本应该是理解建筑为什么具有民族性,当代建筑为何与民族性无法分离,这就要谈到建筑民族性形成的基因——以民族为本位的根生性,它使得当代建筑及今后任何时代的建筑都无法真正的与民族性相分离。民族根生性是建筑创作思维研究的根源视域,由于它的存在不同建筑之间才形成不同的民族性。作为针对建筑创作思维根源因素的研究,本文以当代建筑的“民族根生性”为切入点,通过探讨当代建筑创作思维与民族根生性的关系,以及对建筑的民族根生性概念厘定,从而构建一种以“民族根生性”为主线,以生命的特殊性和意识的原初性为哲学基础,以建筑民族学和文化哲学为理论基础的关于民族根生性视域下的日本当代建筑创作研究体系,并借此分析当代建筑创作思维的原始动因和潜在原则。文章以形式逻辑推导为主要研究方法,以“概念构建——内涵分析——内容和形式——日本民族根生性的表现——日本当代建筑民族根生性表达为研究脉络。探究了建筑民族根生性的学理溯源、概念内涵、生成机制、内容和形式、本质特征等方面的一般规定性。同时,论述了日本民族根生性的成因和表现形式等方面的特点,从理论维度和表达形式方面分析了日本当代建筑民族根生性的基本要义,阐明了民族根生性在日本当代建筑中的鲜明特色;而后落脚到日本民族情感、民族认知和民族理想,并结合当代建筑创作的形态、空间、审美进行研究。总结了日本当代建筑的岛国、暧昧、神道的民族根生性特点,并从建筑形态的几何结构化、纤细观念化和相对复杂化,建筑空间的短暂而流动、灰度和自然要素,建筑思维的原始祖型构造审美观念、含蓄性的机能审美体验和自然的生态素材审美转向三方面展开研究。最后反思了在民族与当代建筑创作融合过程中存在的问题,并提出了对当代建筑创作研究的前沿思考。论文取得了以下有益的理论成果:以日本当代建筑“民族根生性”为切入点,建构了日本当代建筑创作研究的理论支撑体系。以“建筑民族学”和“文化哲学”为理论支撑,提出了日本当代建筑的民族根生性的理论内涵。从岛国的民族情感、暧昧的民族认知和神道的民族理想,以及对日本当代建筑形态、空间、审美的突出影响,揭示了日本当代建筑创作特殊性的深层结构。总体来说,本文从理论建构、表现形式、研究价值三个层面对当代建筑的民族根生性问题展开了深入分析和探讨。理论层面:从学理溯源、一般规定性、内容范畴和表现形式各方面全景分析了建筑民族根生性,以建立在理论层面的建筑民族根生性学理框架。表现形式层面:针对日本当代建筑民族化的经验、表现形式和相关建筑理论,引发对日本当代建筑民族根生性成因、内涵、趋势等一系列问题的思考,以推理论证建构的理论。研究价值层面:当代建筑面对时代性、全球化和民族主义的时空境遇,如何表达特色和有持续的生命力,按照民族的根生性思索是一条值得探索的道路,期待独具个性化的民族特色价值诉求未来建筑的发展。

【Abstract】 The Japanese contemporary architectural creation has leaped into the frontranks of the world and has showed the distinctive characteristics of the times andnationality. There are7Japanese architects who had won the Pritzker ArchitecturePrize in total until2014, and Japan has won the second largest number of the prizeafter America."Japanese style" has often been mentioned to comment these Japanesewinners by the Pritzker commission, and it is widely accepted that "Japanese taste"exists in the Japanese contemporary architecture. But most of Japanese architectsnever mention the tradition or nationality, and even avoid to talk on the topics. So itis worth us to think what are the reasons resulted in the above phenomena. On theother hand, for the problem of the nationality of contemporary architecture, wealways have a misunderstanding in the discussion methods, that have been stuck atthe levels whether the contemporary architecture has nationality or not and whatkind of the nationality it has. But the key to solve these problems should be tounderstand why architecture has nationality. Why can not contemporary architectureand nationality be separated? It derives to the forming gene of architecturalnationality, which is based on the national deep-rooted nature. It makes thecontemporary architecture and buildings in any future era will not be able to trulyseparate from the nationality.National deep-rooted nature is the origin of architectural creative thinking.Because of its existence, different buildings embody the different nationalities. Asthe research on the origin of architectural creative thinking, this dissertation regardsthe national deep-rooted nature as the breakthrough point, discusses the relationshipbetween contemporary architectural creative thinking and the national deep-rootednature, and defines the concept of the national deep-rooted nature of architecture.With the main line of the national deep-rooted nature, the philosophical basis of theparticularity of life and the primordial nature of consciousness, and theoreticalfoundation of the architectural ethnology and cultural philosophy, this dissertationproposes the research framework of Japanese contemporary architectural creationtheory from the perspective of the national deep-rooted nature and then analyzes theoriginal motivation and potential principle of the contemporary architecturalcreation.The main research method is formal logical deduction, and the research ordersare construction of the concept, analysis of the connotation, contents and forms,Japanese national deep-rooted nature and the representation of Japanese nationaldeep-rooted nature in architecture. This dissertation firstly explores the general provisions about the national deep-rooted nature from the following aspects,including the origin, connotation, mechanism, content and form, and essence etc.Then the forming factors and manifestations of the Japanese national deep-rootednature are explained. From the theoretical dimension and formal expression, thebasic meaning of the national deep-rooted nature of Japanese contemporaryarchitecture has been analyzed and its national deep-rooted nature shows distinctcharacteristics. Settled to the Japanese national emotion, national cognitive andnational ideals, and the form, space, and aesthetics of contemporary architecture arecombinated and researched. The national deep-rooted nature of Japanesecontemporary architecture is derived from the island country, ambiguousness, andShinto. The research work concerns the follow three aspects: geometric structuralmorphology, slender ideology and relative complex morphology in architecturalform; short and flow, gray and natural elements in architectural space; and structuralaesthetic concept based on architectural thinking of primitive progenitor, implicitfunction aesthetic experience and ecological aesthetic conversion of natural buildingmaterial. Some problems existed in the integration process of the nationality andcontemporary architecture is reconsidered, and some advance researches on thecontemporary architectural creation theory is proposed. This dissertation has gotsome benefit achievements as follow.The theoretical support system of Japanese contemporary architectural creationis constructed regarded the national deep-rooted nature in Japanese contemporaryarchitecture as the breakthrough point.The theoretical connotation of national deep-rooted nature in Japanesecontemporary architecture is proposed through the theoretical support of"architecture ethnology" and "cultural philosophy".The deeper structure of particularity of Japanese contemporary architecturalcreation is revealed from national emotion of island country, ambiguous nationalcognition, Shinto national ideals and their prominent influence in the form, spaceand aesthetic of Japanese contemporary architecture.Overall, this dissertation performs in-depth analysis and discussion aboutnational deep-rooted nature in contemporary architecture from three aspects,including theoretical construction, expression form and research value. First, in thetheoretical level: a detailed analysis has been performed from academic origin,general provisions, content category, expression form, and etc, and then a theoreticalframework system of national deep-rooted nature theory in contemporaryarchitecture has been built. Secondly, in the expression form level: according to thenational experience, expression form and architectural theory, a series of problems ofcontemporary Japanese architecture, such as forming factors, connotation, and trend,are been thought and deduced. Finally, in the research value level: when contemporary architecture faces circumstances of modernity, globalization andnationalism, how to express its characteristics and continuous vitality, and how toseek the development ways of architecture in the future according to the theory ofthe national deep-rooted nature should been thought deeply.
