家庭高等教育投资行为实证研究

【摘要】 家庭是我国高等教育投资中一个重要的投资主体,作为最基本的社会细胞,家庭的投资理念及其所形成社会公众投资理念,将对高等教育的未来发展产生深远影响。实践证明,投资意向对行为预测有极为重要的指示器作用,因此,探明家庭高等教育投资意向及影响因素,把握家庭高等教育投资的内在机理,对引导家庭正确投资于高等教育、寻求我国高等教育的健康发展路径、有效利用我国有限的高等教育资源,将有非常重要的意义。本文以家庭高等教育投资行为为研究对象,以全国家庭的调查数据为依托,采用规范分析与实证研究相结合的方法,按照“为什么要投资→将怎样投资(投资意愿选择→院校地域、属性、类型、专业科类选择)及其影响因素→如何有效引导投资的对策建议”这样的总体思路来展开研究:首先,对已有的相关成果和研究理论进行回顾和梳理,据此构建出家庭高等教育投资意向的理论分析模型,为本文提供一个逻辑推理框架;并且构建出家庭高等教育投资选择的理论模型,为本文的实证研究方法提供理论基础。其次,从家庭为了获得高等教育的经济性收益和获得消费性收益等需要出发,对家庭高等教育投资产生的动因进行理论和实际的求证,回答家庭“为什么要进行高等教育投资”;再次,利用对全国4016个家庭调查的有效样本,采用统计分析、计量模型检验等方法和工具,从实证的角度分析我国家庭高等教育投资意愿、院校属性选择、院校类型选择、专业科类选择和院校地域选择的影响因素,揭示家庭高等教育投资的内在机理,回答家庭“将怎样进行高等教育投资”;最后,在上述研究基础之上,从我国高等教育和家庭的基本特征等实际出发,围绕“保障家庭高等教育投资的收益”、“政府和教育管理部门关于高等教育机构设置”、“高校自身的发展与战略定位”、“高校教育成本分担”、“个人和家庭高等教育投资和选择的决策“等方面的问题,提出系列促进我国高等教育事业发展和有效引导家庭高等教育投资的对策建议。

【Abstract】 Family is an important investor of higher education in china. Family, as the mostbasic social cell, its investment ideas together with the social public’s investmentideas will have profound influences on higher education’s future development. It isproved that the investment intention is a very important indicator of the behaviorprediction. Therefore, finding out the family’s higher education investment intentionas well as its influencing factors and understanding its mechanism will be key factorsto guide the family investment in higher education correctly, seek the sounddevelopment route of the Chinese higher education and make full use of the limitedhigher education resources.Based on the investigation data of the Chinese family, this thesis takes the familyinvestment intention in higher education as the subject, adopts the methods ofcanonical parse and the empirical study unify to carry out the research in accordancewith such thoughts: why family invest and how it is going to invest, including suchdecision factors such as the school variety, the school region, the school attribute, theeducation type and the major choices, and how to guide the investment effectively:First of all, based on the existing related achievement and research theory, thethesis sets up a theoretical analysis model of family higher education investmentintention to provide a logical reasoning framework for the research. Moreover, itconstructs the choice model of family investment in higher education to provide therationale for the empirical method.Second, based on the needs of the family to search the financial and consumingprofit from the higher education, the thesis probes into the reasons for family highereducation investment intention to solve the problem why family invests in highereducation;Third, according to the effective4016family investigation samples, the thesisapplies the statistic analysis and metrological model to seek the influential factors onfamily higher education investment intention, school attribute, and education typeand school region as to reveal the inherent mechanism of family investment in higher education. In this way, the thesis will solve the problem how family invests inthe higher education;Finally, starting from reality of the Chinese higher education and family features,the thesis focuses on the problems such as the family higher education investmentprofit insurance, the higher education department regulation by government andeducation management organization, the university and college development andimprovement strategies, university and college tuition sharing mechanism, and thedecision-making of individual and family higher education investment. Then, thethesis puts forward a series of suggestion and strategies to promote higher educationdevelopment and guide family higher education investment effectively.
