高动态范围图像高保真印刷复制研究

【摘要】 高动态范围(HDR)图像属于场景参考编码图像,能够再现人眼视觉可感知的真实场景亮度范围。在图像复制领域,阶调和色彩的再现是影响印刷复制品质量的两大关键因素。由于普通的输出参考编码图像可表现的阶调范围和常规4色印刷可还原的色域范围都比较小,因此采用常规4色印刷技术对输出参考编码图像进行复制难以准确地再现原始场景的阶调范围和颜色信息。为了提高印刷复制品的质量,针对当前存在的问题,本文从阶调复制和颜色复制两个方面研究了HDR图像的高保真印刷复制技术。本课题的研究可直接应用于高保真印刷复制研究领域,也可广泛地用于遥感图像处理、高动态范围摄影、虚拟现实和医疗成像等HDR成像及图像处理相关领域。本文的主要研究内容包括:(1)研究和分析现有的HDR图像阶调复制算法,确立新算法的基本框架;(2)研究并提出一种新的基于图像色貌模型的HDR图像阶调复制算法,并利用JAVA-MATLAB混合编程技术研发了HDR图像阶调复制的软件模块;(3)研究和分析现有的印刷分色算法,为新的高保真分色算法设计提供理论依据;(4)研究并提出一种新的高保真6色印刷分色算法,并编写了用于制作CMYKOG6色ICC特性文件的软件模块:本文的主要创新点体现在:①提出了一种新的基于图像色貌模型的HDR图像阶调复制算法,新算法在阶调压缩函数,色貌效应预测和算法速度方面改进了现有的HDR图像阶调复制算法;②提出了一种新的基于分区纽阶堡方程的6色印刷分色算法,新算法在利用牛顿迭代法对分区纽阶堡方程组进行求解的分色过程中,首次应用了基于节点地址的色域压缩方案,成功地解决了对目标色域外样本点进行分色求解所出现的异常值问题;③将最终构建的6色分色模型以多维查找表的形式生成多色ICC特性文件。

【Abstract】 High Dynamic Range (HDR) image belongs to scene referred encoding image, and they can reappearance the luminance range of the natural world which human vision can perceive. In image reproduction field, the reappearance of tone and color are two main critical factors which affect quality of printing reproduction. Because the tone range which ordinary output referred encoding images can represent and the gamut which the four-color printing process can reappearance are small, so using regular four-color printing process to reproduce the ordinary type image is very difficult to reappearance the tone range and color appearance of the natural world. In order to improve the quality of printing reproduction, in view of the existing current problems, this paper research high-fidelity reproduction for HDR images on the two aspects of tone reproduction and color reproduction. The research can not be only applied on high-fidelity printing reproduction directly, but also be widely used in HDR imaging and image processing fields such as remote sensing, virtual reality, medical imaging and so on.The main research contents of this paper include:(1) The existing tone reproduction algorithms for HDR images were researched and analyzed, and the fundamental framework of new algorithm were established;(2) A new tone reproduction algorithm for HDR images based on iCAM was researched and proposed, and the software module of tone reproduction for HDR images was developed by JAVA-MATLAB hybrid programming technology;(3) The existing printing color separation algorithms were researched and analyzed in order to provide the design of new high-fidelity printing color separation algorithm with theory evidence;(4) A new high-fidelity six-color separation algorithm was researched and proposed, and the corresponding software for creating CMYKOG six-color ICC profile was developed;The main innovations of this paper include:①a new tone reproduction algorithm for HDR images based on iCAM was proposed, and the new algorithm improved the existing tone reproduction algorithm in aspects of tone compress function, color appearance effect predicting and calculation speed;②a new six-color separation algorithm based on subarea Neugebauer Equation system was proposed. The new algorithm introduced the gamut compression algorithm based on the node addresses into the solving process of the Neugebauer Equation system in each subarea based on Newton-Raphson method. It successfully solved the problem that the separation of colorimetric outside the target gamut results in the abnormal value;③The six-color separation model established finally was used to create multi-color ICC profile in the form of multidimensional look-up table.
