孙楷第小说学研究

【摘要】 本文从小说研究史的角度,考查孙楷第及其小说学成就。主要研究目标在于以下几个方面：其一,研究孙楷第的学术人生,探究其学术发展的历程；并联系二十世纪初期的时代文化背景,从宏观角度研究孙楷第及其周围学人群体,以见出孙楷第与学界之关系。其二,研究孙楷第在通俗小说研究方面的主要学术成果。孙楷第是通俗小说目录学的创立者,本文首先以他的目录学成就为关注对象,分析其学术成果,论述其在通俗小说目录发展史上的前后联系。除通俗小说目录研究之外的学术成果,以专题研究的方式进行探讨。其三,总结孙楷第治学方法及学术思想。基于以上研究目标,本文共分为六章。第一章为绪论,论述研究背景及研究现状。文中阐述了新时期小说研究史的发展状况,以及本课题研究孙楷第的意义,综述孙楷第的著述情况以及当前的研究现状。第二章为“孙楷第的学术人生”,论述其一生从事学术研究的经历,共分“大学之前”、“准备期”、“奠基期”、“拓展期”、“总结期”五个时段分别展开。第三章为“孙楷第及其周围的学人群体”。首先论述二十世纪初期小说学研究的时代文化背景,包括小说地位的提升以及小说史研究成为一门新兴学科的过程。又以与孙楷第学术关系较为密切的傅增湘、胡适、钱玄同、杨树达、黎锦熙、马廉、郑振铎、陈垣等八位学人为主要关注对象,论述他们之间的学术往来。第四章为“孙楷第的小说目录学研究”。小说目录学是孙楷第主要的学术成就之一,本章论述了《孙目》之前通俗小说书目的编纂情况,《孙目》的编纂过程及以后的修订；《孙目》在通俗小说目录方面的主要成就及其特点；《孙目》之后学术界对它的补订及完善。第五章为专题研究。包括小说家研究、源流考证及孙楷第的小说史观三个方面。第六章总结孙楷第的治学方法及学术思想。结语部分评述孙楷第在中国小说史研究中的地位及影响,收束全文。最后,笔者将孙楷第的著述目录、语释索引及孙楷第年谱等附录于文后。本文的创新性主要体现在以下几个方面：首先,在中国小说研究史上,已往的学术成果往往体现为通论、专题、专书、断代研究史方面,但在学人研究这一同样具有学术史意义的研究方式上,目前的成果较为分散。本文以孙楷第这样一位为通俗小说研究作出过巨大贡献、成就卓著的学者为核心,力求展现其个人以及与之相关的学术发展状况。其次,孙楷第的学术成就是多方面的,本文总结、分析了他的主要学术贡献,并力求通过学术史的观照,体现其学术价值。第三,本文总结了孙楷第的治学方法及学术思想,既体现了孙楷第本人的治学特色,也可以为学术研究的深入发展提供可资借鉴之处。
【Abstract】 From the view of the fiction research history, this article tries to make a survey of Sun Kaidi and his fiction theory. Three specific aims are proposed here. Firstly, some research is done on Sun Kaidi’s academic life and a thorough inquiry is made of his development course; associated with the cultural background of the early 21st century, this article researches Sun Kaidi, as well as the scholars around him so that we can see the relationship between Sun Kaidi and the academic circles. Secondly, the article reviews Sun Kaidi’s main academic achievements in popular fiction’s research. Sun Kaidi is the founder of Chinsee popular fiction Bibliography, and this article pays attention to his Bibliography at first, analyzes his academic achievements, and then discusses his relationship with the history of Bibliography’s development before and after. This article does research on his other achievements in the form of special topic. Thirdly, this article summarizes Sun Kaidi’s academic methods and academic thoughts.Based on the above research aims, this article consists of six chapters. The first chapter is introduction, which discusses the research background and present research situations. In this part, the development of the fiction research history is analyzed, and the significance of research on Sun Kaidi, the summary of Sun Kaidi’s works and current research conditions are also mentioned. The second chapter is "Sun Kaidi’s academic life", which discusses his experiences of academic research, including five stages:"before university", "period of preparation", "period of foundation", "period of extension", "period of summary". The third chapter is "Sun Kaidi and the scholars around him". This part first discusses the cultural background at that time, including the improvement of fiction’s status, and the course of fiction’s becoming a new science category. This part also pays attention to the following eight scholars:Fu Zengxiang, Hu Shi, Qian Xuantong, Yang Shuda, Li Jinxi, Ma Lian, Zheng Zhenduo, Chen Yuan etc, because they had close relationship with Sun Kaidi. In the article, the academic relationship between them is discussed. The fourth chapter is "Sun Kaidi’s fiction bibliography research". The fiction bibliography is one of Sun Kaidi’s main achievements, This chapter discusses the edit conditions before The Bibliography of Chinese Popular Fiction, the edit course and amendment of The Bibliography of Chinese Popular Fiction, the main achievements and features of The Bibliography of Chinese Popular Fiction, and the academic circles’complement. The fifth Chapter is topic research, including the following three aspects:the research on the novelists, the research on fiction origin, and the research on Sun Kaidi’s idea of Chinese fiction history. The sixth chapter summarizes Sun Kaidi’s academic methods and thoughts. The final Chapter discusses Sun Kaidi’s status and effect in the history of Chinese fiction research, and summarizes the whole article.The innovations of this article embodies in the following aspects:Firstly, in the history of Chinese fiction research, the past academic achievements often existed in the discussion of the composition, the topic, the special fiction, and the special dynasty, while on the other hand, the research on scholars, which has made great contributions to the academic development, is not concentrated but dispersed. This article focuses on the Sun Kaidi, who has made great achievements in the field of popular fiction, trying to show him and other related academic development. Next, Sun Kaidi’s academic achievements lie in many aspects. This article concludes and analyzes his main academic contributions, trying to show his academic value. Thirdly, this article concludes Sun Kaidi’s academic methods and academic thoughts, which not only reflects Sun Kaidi’s academic characteristics, but also provides some reference for the thorough development of academic research.
