乡村视频博主的内容生产及媒介生活实践

【摘要】 乡村在当代中国视域下向来是充满张力的概念集合体:乡村既是田园牧歌式的文明传统,又是现代性发展过程中的一个断裂场域。乡村与城市、乡村文化与都市文化本身,在过往文化研究中构成了相互交织的矛盾。近年来,乡村短视频以各种原生形态的视觉呈现,构筑成互联网的一道亮丽风景。在乡村振兴的战略背景下,政府愈发重视短视频在连接城乡互动以及乡村经济发展方面的价值。本文选取今日头条上的乡村类短视频,通过内容分析呈现出媒介化乡村的多种特点,然后实地考察乡村地区视频博主的短视频实践,试图挖掘作为生产主体的青年群体如何表达乡村。研究发现,乡村青年积极建构出“新农人”“家乡代言人”等形象,改变了以往主流媒体视域下的“他者化”框架;生产者的个体身份境遇是乡村社会再现与表征的基本素材,他们以新媒体时代的叙事手法加以修饰,既表达了新的城乡中国文化,又将时代情感症候“乡愁”蕴含其中;当前乡村短视频发展总体态势良好,但研究不能忽视乡村视频博主的内生困境,一方面,草根群体尝试采用职业化生产策略获得更大流量,另一方面,他们的“成名之路”受到平台、粉丝、资本等多方力量规训,形成颇为复杂的自我认知。乡村短视频不仅是新媒体参与乡村发展的一种新尝试,也是乡村青年群体改变生活方式的工具。本文探讨乡村短视频的内容生产过程,有利于我们讨论媒介技术如何被策略性地运用以建构文化消费领域的乡土中国,以及中国现代进程中城乡流动所包含的复杂矛盾如何在这场视觉性互动当中得以表达出来。透过研究乡村青年微观的日常生活,有助于理解新时代乡村个体的媒介化镜像,为激活乡村振兴的内生力量提供新的观察视野,凸显乡村群体能动性对于乡村和谐建设的重要意义。
【Abstract】 The rural has always been a collection of concepts full of tension in contemporary China: the rural is not only an idyllic civilization tradition,but also a broken field in the development of modernity.Rural and urban areas,rural culture and urban culture themselves constitute intertwined contradictions in past cultural studies.In recent years,rural short videos have been visually presented in various original forms,and have become a beautiful landscape of the Internet.Under the strategic background of rural revitalization,the government pays more and more attention to the value of short videos in connecting urban and rural interactions and driving economic development.This paper selects rural short videos from today’s headlines and presents the various characteristics of media-based villages through content analysis,and then investigates the short video practices of video bloggers in rural areas,trying to find out how the youth groups as the main production group express the countryside.The study found that rural youths actively constructed images such as "new farmers" and "hometown spokespersons",which changed the "otherness" framework from the perspective of mainstream media in the past;Producer’s individual identity situation is the basic material for the representation and representation of rural society.Rural video bloggers decorate it with narrative techniques in the new media era,which not only presents new urban and rural Chinese culture,but also contains the emotional symptom of the times "homesickness";At present,the development of short videos in rural areas is in a good overall situation,However,the study can not ignore the endogenous dilemma of rural video bloggers.On the one hand,grassroots groups try to adopt professional production strategies to gain more traffic;on the other hand,their "road to fame" is disciplined by various forces such as platform,fans and capital,forming a rather complex self-awareness.Today,rural short videos are not only a new attempt for new media to participate in rural development,but also a tool for rural youth groups to change their lifestyles.This paper discusses the content production process of rural short videos,which is helpful for us to discuss how media technology is strategically used to construct rural China in the field of cultural consumption,and how the complex contradictions contained in urban-rural mobility in the modern process of China can be expressed in this visual interaction.By studying the micro daily life of rural youth,we can understand how short videos change the content and logic of rural culture,and further examine the interaction between new media technology and rural harmonious construction.
