【Abstract】 The needs analysis theory is one of the most fundamental and important theoretical basises of curriculum design and construction.By analyzing the teaching current situation of the college English public elective courses as the starting point,applying J.D.Brown’s research theory of needs analysis as the guidance as well as taking the teaching practice of the newly-established public elective courses like Employment Seeking English,Selective Reading of Current English,and British and American Culture and Society in Shenyang University of Technology as the basises,this thesis expounds the significance and effect of the construction on the new type of college English teaching mode on the basis of needs analysis theory.更多还原
