【Abstract】 The academic column of “Local Impressions” originated from the establishment of the first research project on commercial seals, one of the projects specialized in unusual subjects under the national social science planning.Based on the excellent achievements of the first academic seminar on commercial seals, it is committed to shaping the first distinctive academic column on seals. It has promoted the compilation of literature on commercial seals and the development of academic research fields. It is also beneficial to construct a research system of China’s seal business, administration and culture and establish development direction of this system.
