【Abstract】 The study of Chinese crop history can not only expand the research field of Chinese agricultural history, but also provide new academic resources for Chinese social history and daily life history. The Chinese Pumpkin History, written by Dr. Li Xinsheng of Nanjing Agricultural University, explains the introduction of pumpkin and the development process of its localization in China with a unique perspective and rich historical materials and multidisciplinary research methods.
