【Abstract】 In the Korean documents of Chinese transcription, the merge of words with the entering tone into other counterparts does not conform to the regular pattern dependent on the voiced-voiceless distinction of the initial consonants. This paper raises doubts on this irregular pattern of tonal convergence, which contradicts the general linguistic principle of Chinese historical phonology, maintaining that this apparent aberrance results from the investigators’ wrong research approaches.更多还原
