【Abstract】 "醜" as a traditional character, "丑" as simple character, there has been a phenomenon of mutual use.Through the diachronic analysis of the evolution of the glyphs of " 醜" and "丑", this paper illustrates that the original meaning of "醜" and "丑" is not exactly the same with the use cases and glyphs in the literature. Finally, the use of "丑 " instead of the traditional Chinese character " 醜" is discussed from the aspects of frequency, economic principles, homophone substitution, etc.更多还原
