【摘要】 从释意派的“忠实”标准来探讨国务院新闻发布会口译准确度的把握,以期对口译实践有所启迪。释意派认为,翻译就是传达交际意义,译员在陈述者和听话人之间转换意义的标准在于忠实于意义。从内容和译员的角度分析了国务院新闻发布会上口译的特点,并认为释意派的“忠实”标准对其提供了良好的尺度。更多还原

【Abstract】 This paper discusses the appropriateness of interpreting in the press conferences hosted by China’s State Council from the perspective of the fidelity criterion advocated by Theory of Interpretation with a view to offering advices for consecutive interpreting.According to Theory of Interpretation,it is the communicative meaning that should be transferred in the translation,and the criterion for the translation is to be faithful to the meaning.The paper provides some unique characteristics of consecutive interpreting in the press conferences in terms of both contents and interpreters.Fidelity criterion is employed as a good measurement on the analyses of the appropriateness of this kind of interpreting practice.更多还原
