【Abstract】 The statement “Shangyong City is surrounded by water on three sides” in the book “Book of Jin, Emperor Xuan” has severely hindered the study of Yongchu culture and the historical culture of Northwest Hubei, resulting in the unsolved mystery of the exact location of its capital for over a thousand years.
