【Abstract】 Machine translation error analysis is a method of machine translation quality evaluation, through which specific information about error types, error distribution, etc. in MT output can be attained in either manual or automatic ways. It is helpful for knowing the problems and defects of MT systems and providing feedback for the development of MT system. In this survey, we review the literature for MT error analysis home and abroad, introduce related studies from several points, error classification, automatic error annotation, applications of error analysis, etc.and point out the development trends in the future.更多还原
