具有USB接口的低压电力线载波通信模块的研制

【摘要】 电力线通信(简称PLC)是利用工频电能传输线路作为传输媒介的通信方式。电源线路是每个家庭最为普通也是覆盖最为宽广的一种物理媒介,覆盖面要超过有线电视网络甚至电话线路,同时由于利用电力线通讯可以在现有的电力线布局基础上进行,能节约大量的安装费用,因而利用电源线路实现数据通信的技术有着可观的经济效益和应用前景。许多国内外的公司和机构已经开展了对各种电力线载波通信的研究。扩展频谱通信技术具有码分多址抗多径干扰、抗衰落、克服远近效应等优点,因此该技术被广泛使用。本文试图以当前PC机普遍配置的通用串行总线USB (Universal Serial Bus)为通信接口来实现与PC机的通信,其具有方便、灵活、低价、热插拔和传输速度快等优点。本文首先从通信原理出发,在扩频调制技术的基础上,采用福星晓程公司的PL2102调制解调芯片研制开发了基于USB接口的电力线载波通信模块;其次,在研究通用串行总线USB规范及工作原理的基础上,采用USB接口芯片USBN9604和低功耗微处理器C8051F231设计开发了通用USB总线接口及其控制固件,实现了通用计算机与电力线载波通信模块之间基于USB总线的通信功能;再次,采用VB语言编程,调用Windows内部的API函数,与选定的HID类驱动程序进行通信,完成了电力线载波通信模块的上层软件开发;在以上工作基础上对电力线载波通信模块的性能进行测试,并对测试的结果进行分析。
【Abstract】 Power Line Communication is one special way of communication by using power line of industrial frequency as the transmission media. In every home, the power line circuits are more wide spread than TV network or telephone circuits. Meanwhile, the power line communication can be realized on the basis of existed power line network, thus it can save extensive expenditure. So the technology of realizing communication through power line has considerable economic benefit and application prospect. Many companies and institutions at home and abroad have researched on various power line carrier communications in resent years.Spread spectrum communication technique is widely adopted with the advantages of anti-multi-path interference, restricting declination and near-far resistance performance etc. In this paper, the serial-bus USB generally configured in PC is used to communicate with PC because of its convenient, flexibility, low price, plug-pull and high speed.A power line carrier communication module is designed with the technology of spread spectrum communication and USB bus. Firstly, the principle of communication is introduced such as the technology of digital modulation and spread spectrum modulation, and PL2102 modem chip produced by Fu Xing Xiao Cheng Company is used in the design. Then according to the research on the standard and working principle of USB, universal USB interface and its control program are designed through using USB interface chip USBN9604 and low power microprocessor C8051F231, which realizes the communication between general computer and power line communication module with USB bus. Third, the system programmed with VB language communicates with the selected HID driver program through calling Windows API function, which completes the software development. Based on the above work, the performance test of the PLC module is carried on, and the testing results are analyzed.
