【Abstract】 China’s book translation fever in the1980s is the subject of this paper. This outpouring began from the later stage of the Cultural Revolution until the end of the1980s. This paper reveals the evolution of the CCP’s publishing regulations from the perspective of translation, publishing and cultural studies. Moreover, this study also discusses the roles and functions of publishing institutions, cultural policies and ideologies at various levels in the translation activities, and reveals an interactive relationship between translators, translated books, publishers and government bodies.更多还原
