【Abstract】 There are 2287 first characters in the Fanqie of the Guangyun(《广韵》) which have been revised in the Jiyun(《集韵》) . In this paper, I analyse the phonological information by observing these revised first characters in the Fanqie of the Jiyun(《集韵》), and discuss six problems as below: 1. The types and the characteristics of the revised Fanqie in the Jiyun(《集韵》). 2. The phonological information changing Leige(类隔切) into Yinhe(音和切) . 3. The contrast between kai(开) and he(和) according to the first characters in the Fanqie. 4. The characteristics of hong(洪) and xi(细) according to the first characters in the Fanqie. 5.
