【Abstract】 In Chinese and western cross-cultural communication, the translator, the envoy of spread and exchange of TCM culture, should fully consider the similarities and differences between Chinese and western culture and western readers’ cultural traditions and cultural psychology to interpret the cultural information of TCM terms by flexibly using different translation strategies. As for translating culturally-shared words, the translator should take into account both form and content of them; as for translating cultural-vacancy words, the translator should consider both referential meaning and cultural meaning of them; as for translating cultural-conflict words, the translator should take into consideration both cultural tradition and cultural psychology of target language readers.更多还原
