北塘水库浮游藻类群落变化及其对水中铁含量的影响
Variation of planktonic algae community and its effect on iron concentration in Beitang Reservoir
【摘要】 北塘水库是天津市饮用水源水库之一,承接南水北调中线来水,夏季存在铁浓度超标现象。通过统计分析北塘水库2020—2022年水质数据发现,该平原水库铁浓度与蓝藻门微囊藻、束丝藻、伪鱼腥藻数量呈显著正相关(p≤0.01),和绿藻门衣藻数量呈显著负相关(p≤0.01),蓝藻数量增多加剧了水体中铁浓度升高,抑制藻类生长可显著降低铁浓度。浮游藻类移动还影响了平原水库沉积物中铁元素的分布,导致铁元素向藻类聚集区迁移。本研究说明了铁元素与藻间的相互影响关系,水源管理不仅要关注铁浓度升高对藻群落结构的影响,还应关注藻类生长对铁浓度变化的影响。
【Abstract】 Beitang Reservoir is one of the primary reservoirs utilized for potable water in Tianjin.It receives water from the middle line of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project, and during the summer season, the concentration of iron in the water exceeds the established standard.Statistical analysis of the water quality data of Beitang Reservoir in 2020—2022 showed that the iron concentration was significantly positively correlated with the number of Microcystis,Aphanizomenon and Pseudanabaena of the Cyanophyta(p≤0.01),and significantly negatively correlated with the number of Chlamydomonas of the Chlorophyta(p≤0.01).The increase in the number of Cyanophyta exacerbated the iron pollution in the water.The inhibition of the growth of phytoplankton could significantly reduce the concentration of iron.The movement of phytoplankton also affected the distribution of iron in the sediment of the plain reservoirs, resulting in the migration of iron to the algal aggregation area.This study highlights the mutual influence relationship between iron and algae, and water management should pay attention not only to the effect of elevated iron concentration on the structure of the algal community, but also to the effect of algal growth on the variation of iron concentration in the water.
