【Abstract】 Zhang Jiang’s Re-discussion on Compulsory Interpretation takes “the certainty of the object” as the first principle. In the interpretation history of Van Gogh’s “Shoes”, Heidegger, Shapiro, Derrida and Jameson had great differences in the certainty of taking “Shoes” as the object. The certainty of the object of interpretation is quite different in different disciplines and different types of literature and art.
