转SoSUT5基因甘蔗后代农艺和品质性状的表现

【摘要】 蔗糖转运蛋白(SUT)在蔗糖的贮藏、转运、代谢等生理过程中发挥着重要作用,在甘蔗中有5种不同的类型。该研究观察了转SoSUT5基因甘蔗品系(L1、L2、L3和L6)和非转基因甘蔗(WT)在第2代新植蔗(T2)、第3代新植蔗(T3)、第2代第一季宿根蔗(T2R1)和第2代第二季宿根蔗(T2R2)的生长、农艺性状、蔗茎出汁率、蔗汁重力纯度、蔗糖分积累等表现情况,为SUT基因功能研究提供参考依据。试验于2018年至2019年分别调查了转SoSUT5基因甘蔗株系和非转基因甘蔗在T2和T3的部分农艺性状,测定了在T2、T3、T2R1和T2R2时的甘蔗品质。与非转基因甘蔗相比,转基因甘蔗株系在出苗率、茎径大小、单茎重、甘蔗蔗糖分、蔗汁蔗糖分、蔗渣蔗糖分和蔗汁重力纯度等方面都有不同程度降低,而甘蔗的出汁率和黑穗病发病率则明显增高。SoSUT5基因可能对甘蔗生长和蔗糖分起负调控作用,并增加黑穗病的发病率。如果敲除此基因有可能改善甘蔗的生长、产量和品质性状。

【Abstract】 Sucrose transporter(SUT)plays an important role in sucrose storage,transport,metabolism and other physiological processes,which has five different types of protein in sugarcane. In this study,the growth,agronomic characters,sugarcane juice rate,sugarcane juice gravity purity and sucrose content of Sugarcane were observed in T2(plant cane),T3(plant cane),T2R1(1st ratoon of T2)and T2R2(2 nd ratoon of T2)for the transgenic lines L1,L2,L3 and L6 compared with the wild type(WT)to provides a reference for further transgenic sugarcane research. The experiments were conducted in 2018-2019,the agronomic characters in T2 and T3 and the quality characters in T2,T3,T2R1 and T2R2 were checked.The emergence rate,stalk diameter,stalk weight,sucrose content of sugarcane,juice sucrose content,bagasse sugar content and juice gravity purity in transgenic sugarcane were all decreased in different degrees,while juice rate and smut rate incidence were significantly increased compared with WT. The gene SoSUT5 in may negatively regulate the plant growth and sugar accumulation,and increase the incidence of smut in the transgenic sugarcane. It might be possible to improve the growth,productivity and cane quality if knocking out this gene from sugarcane.
