【Abstract】 The translation of Tao Te Ching by Czech scholar Rudolf Dvo?ák provides not only a profound understanding of Taoism in Czechia,but also an inspiring and provoking reference for other fellow translators.Dvo?ák brought oriental culture and philosophy to Czechia with his work,arousing curiosity and imagination among domestic readers for the distant China while enabling them to see some of the characteristics of Orientalism from the mysterious eastern aesthetic and oriental spirit from Tao Te Ching.Therefore,the origin of Sinology in Czechia is mostly credited to Dvo?ák.更多还原
