基于3D打印的智能马桶水件模具随形水路优化设计
Optimization of Conformal Cooling Channels for Smart Toilet Plastic Injection Mold with 3D Printing
【摘要】 笔者介绍了基于3D打印的注射模具随形冷却水路设计方法和实现技术的发展概况,并以智能马桶注塑水件模具为研究对象,针对其中一个有狭长薄壁成形特征的镶件,优化设计了随形冷却水路;利用SLM 3D打印技术制造了随形冷却水路与型腔一体的注射模具镶件,与原采用直线钻孔加工的镶件比较,其温度均匀性和冷却效率得到有效提升。
【Abstract】 Design and fabrication of conformal cooling channels for injection mold with 3 D printing are introduced. The smart toilet plastic Injection mold was taken as a targete. A insert of the mold with slender and thin-walled cavity was aimed at in our research. Conformal cooling channels of the insert were designed. A mold insert integrated with optimized conformal cooling system and cavity was fabricated by SLM technique in 3 D printing. Comparing with the conventional(straight-drilled) insert, its temperature homogeneity and cooling efficiency are improved effectively.
