【Abstract】 Upholding the Party′s cultural leadership constitutes a core component of Xi Jinping Thought on Culture. In the New Era, this commitment is the inheritance and development of Marxist cultural theory, the summation of experiences from the Party′s propaganda, ideological, and cultural work, and an inevitable response to new circumstances and challenges. To maintain cultural leadership, it is essential to adhere to Marxist scientific theory as the fundamental guide, uphold the principle of integrating the Party′s nature with the people′s interests, firmly grasp the leadership and initiative in ideological work, consolidate the subjectivity of Chinese culture through strengthened cultural confidence, and ensure the construction of culture proceeds along the correct path.
