【Abstract】 In the 1880s, a series of new changes took place in the capitalist world, and Engels reconsidered its fate. The new changes in capitalism have not changed the basic contradictions of capitalist society, not only will it not perish soon, but also have a certain room for growth and development. Engels put forward the new strategy of parliamentary struggle, advocated the establishment of a solid alliance of workers and peasants to accumulate strength, and reserved the means of violent revolution under special circumstances to deal with the counterattack of the bourgeoisie.
