【Abstract】 Fay Weldon(1931-) is a famous British contemporary writer, critic and playwright since the 1970s. Her novels interpret a history of female sociology from the unique perspective of women, mainly discussing the themes of women’s psychology, domestic life and emotion. In more than 50 years of creative writing, she has completed about 40 novels, nearly every one of which involves certain aspect of female sociology, such as female image, pregnancy and childbirth, employment, crime, education shortage and so on. In Worst Fears(1996), Weldon constructed a fictional female text social model. She created a female image with the dialectical thought of “negation of negation” in a way that transcends the convention and breaks the boundaries, and alerts contemporary women with Weldon’s creative writing style.更多还原
