【Abstract】 Objective To explore the effect of injury control in clinical emergency treatment of orthopedic lower limb trauma. Methods Eighty-two patients with orthopaedic lower extremity trauma treated in our hospital from January 2018 to January 2019 were selected as the research object of this experiment. The selected patients were divided into a control group and an observation group by lot drawing. There were 41 cases in each group. Among them, conventional trauma treatment was used for patients with lower extremity orthopedic trauma in the control group, while the observation group used the treatment method of injury control first aid on the basis of the control group, comparing the two groups with excellent treatment rates, complications and hospitalization time. Results The excellent treatment rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group. The incidence of complications was lower than that in the control group. The length of hospital stay was shorter than that in the control group. The difference was statistically significant, P < 0.05. Conclusion The application of injury control in the clinical emergency treatment of orthopedic lower extremity trauma can effectively improve the excellent treatment rate, significantly reduce the incidence of complications, shorten the length of hospitalization for patients, and accelerate the recovery of patients.
