【Abstract】 Zezhou area in the Ming Dynasty was one of the important cities for the development of Buddhism. The widely distributed Buddhist temples played an important role in building the regional sacred space. Buddhism further infiltrates its influence into the grass-roots society and people’s life through Temple donation, while groups from different classes express their spiritual demands through diversified donation methods, and form a sense of identity and build local discourse with the help of the unique field of temple. Therefore, temple donation has become an integral part of the construction of local social order.
