【Abstract】 In the dog worshiping culture in Leizhou Peninsula,the image of supernatural dog was created by folk legends and the stone dog sculpture art.The aesthetic thoughts and emotions of dog worshiping is the majestic beauty of supernatural dog,while the aesthetic form is the harmonious unity of the divine power and ugly appearance of it.The spirit and appearance of the supernatural dog in the folklore and the stone dog sculpture art was changing,so aesthetic appreciation of its majestic beauty was also changing.The majestic sense of supernatural dog makes people feel frightened and in awe,inspiring people’s emotional demands to pray for protection.The aesthetic value of the majestic beauty of supernatual dog is therefore achieved in the practice of human social production and living.更多还原
