人口老龄化与我国制造业智能化转型

【摘要】 本文基于2011—2021年我国省级面板数据,构建中介效应模型实证检验老龄化对我国制造业智能化转型的作用机制。结果表明,总体上老龄化会促进我国制造业智能化转型,同时,人口老龄化还会通过以下路径对制造业智能化发展产生影响:人口老龄化程度的加深将会推动技术创新,从而促进制造业向智能化转型;老年人口的不断增加使得家庭养老负担加重,挤占教育资本投入,进而通过抑制人力资本积累对制造业智能化转型产生不利影响;人口老龄化导致劳动力供给减少,冲击劳动力市场,提高劳动力成本,倒逼制造业进行智能化转型。

【Abstract】 This paper constructs a mediating effect model to empirically test the mechanism of aging on the intelligent transformation of China’s manufacturing industry based on provincial panel data from 2011-2021. The results show that, in general, aging will promote the intelligent transformation of China’s manufacturing industry, and at the same time, population aging will also affect the intelligent development of manufacturing industry through the following paths: the deepening of population aging will promote technological innovation, thus promoting the intelligent transformation of manufacturing industry; the increasing elderly population will aggravate the burden of family retirement and crowd out the investment in education capital, which will adversely affect the intelligent transformation of manufacturing industry by inhibiting the accumulation of human capital; the aging population will lead to the reduction of labor supply, which will impact the labor market and raise the labor cost, and force the intelligent transformation of manufacturing industry.
