【Abstract】 Shakespeare’s King Lear profoundly explores the causes of the ups and downs of the older generation and the loyalty and treachery of the younger generation in the English court and royal family.Simultaneously,it discusses in detail the everlasting weak points in the human nature.Through the tragedies of the two generations,Shakespeare praises Cordelia as an ideal image and condemns the betrayal and disloyalty in family and social relations when coming to terms with property and power,awakening the people to create a world full of friendship and love,a more beautiful place for people to live.更多还原
